Expectations

APPRENTICESHIP EXPECTATIONS

I Tim. 4:12: “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

As a Liveheart Apprentice you are to be an example in your speech, your lifestyle, your love for God and others, your attitude of faith, and in your moral purity.

Pledge of Honor

The Pledge of Honor outlines character choices and disciplines consistent with the lifestyle of a Liveheart Apprentice at Liveheart Church. The framework for these expectations is explained on pages 8 & 9 of the Apprenticeship Application..

Relationships

This season is for the development of intimacy with God and His Word. We ask Apprentices to set this time aside to focus on training and to refrain from dating relationships for the duration of your apprentice commitment. Keeping this focus will maintain the integrity of this program and provide you with the full benefit this program was designed to produce.

 Employment

We realize as a Liveheart Apprentice you may need to obtain part-time employment in order to meet your expenses. Because of your commitment to Liveheart Apprentices, we require you to limit your part-time workweek to 20 hours or less.

 Ministry Trips

A vital part of your training will be participation in one of our ministry trips. These trips vary in location and duration each year; both national and international opportunities are provided. The general Apprentice budget subsidizes part of the trip expenses, primarily the airfare, allowing us to keep the mission trip costs as low as possible for each apprentice. Depending upon the specifics of each trip, there may be additional expenses you will be responsible for in order to participate. Detailed mission trip information will be sent to you as available, upon acceptance into the program.
